"J-Mac"

I read this story last week and had to link to it. An autistic 17-year-old nicknamed “J-Mac” got to live out his dream of playing in a high school basketball game. And boy did he take advantage of his moment! Watch the video to see what I mean; it puts things in perspective. I’ll go on record now: the planned J-Mac movie will run circles around Rudy.

This clip of J-Mac occurs at a school in upstate NY right near where I grew up outside of Rochester! We played Greece-Athena in sports and sang in choruses together. I’m so glad that this school and the basketball team are getting the attention that they deserve! Let’s hear it for awesome Upstate New York!! Whoo-hoo!!
