Cristo Rey Christmas Party - December 25, 2006 - A group of us went to a precario near Cartago called Cristo Rey to have a Christmas party for the children there. It was a blast! We played games, sang songs, opened presents, and talked about the true meaning of Christmas, the birth of Jesus, our Lord and Savior.
Seacoast Mission Trip Videos - November 16, 2006 - This is a collection of eight videos (totaling 45 minutes) from the medical mission trip from Seacoast Church. We traveled all over Costa Rica serving in medical clinics - from remote Indian villages to inner-city “precarios” to a drug rehab center. It was an amazing 10 days that I personally will never forget.
Cavecas Indians Clinic - October 22, 2006 - This video captures some of the highlights of the “Festival Con Dios” on October 14 - an outreach for the Cavecas Indians in the Provence of Limon, Costa Rica. The festival included medical and dental clinics, games and activities for the children, and a lunch prepared by professional chefs from San Jose. We will return to this area of Limon for future medical clinics very soon.
Seacoast Video Interview - August 15, 2006 - This is a four-minute video from Greg Surratt’s message “Doing Good” at Seacoast Church on August 13, 2006. God can do amazing things through simple acts of obedience. Amber’s life was forever changed because someone asked her to go to church. And my life was profoundly impacted too - I would not have met Amber if she had not accepted that invitation!

Thanks for the comment. We appreciate the encouraging words! To answer your question, neither our church (Seacoast Church in Mt. Pleasant, SC) nor our mission agency (Global Outreach Mission) are affiliated with a denomination. Both are non-denominational. You can read their statement of beliefs on their websites (linked from this blog). Hope this helps. Thanks for reading!
