Norome Anniversary Trip

Amber and I are back from our anniversary trip to Norome, Nicaraga. We have to leave Costa Rica every three months because of our visa status, so we made lemonade out of lemons and had a four-day weekend. And it was wonderful. We relaxed, ate, lounged at the pool, ate, sailed, watched the howler monkeys, ate, ate, and ate. Did I mention Norome is an all-inclusive? Thus, the emphasis on eating.
Beyond the great food, we sailed (more like flew) on a Hobie Cat on Laguna de Apoyo (a beautiful crater lake in an extinct volcano), Amber had a massage, and we had plenty of time to read, relax, and soak up some sun. A much-needed break.
Now we’re back in Orosi. As always, there’s tons to do. But we have a little more energy and a little less stress as we get back to work this week. Thank you to the WONDERFUL, WONDERFUL people who sent anniversary cards or pulled us aside to slip us spending money. Because of your gifts, we were able to enjoy our vacation and not worry at all about its cost. Amber and I are so grateful for your generosity. And we’re thankful for such AWESOME friends and families! We love you guys very much.
