Tour Stop: Richmond, KY

Iowa City, IA to Richmond, KY
Estimated Distance: 576 miles
Estimated Time: 9 hours
Purpose: to visit family

We’re heading east and south tomorrow — back to more familiar territory. We’re visiting Amber’s dad (Darren), step-mom (Triesa), and sister (Brianna) in Kentucky.  First time we’ve seen them in a looooong time.  And first time we’ll see their new house.  The tour is on the home stretch…

You guys are troopers! What’s your favorite car ride activity? Justin and I listened to Harry Potter the whole way!

Iowa to Kentucky was nothing compared to E. Tennessee to Texas. :-)

We bought an iHome2go speaker for the trip, so we’ve been filling the time with podcasts and music. I’m a big podcast listener, so I’ve been happy. But Amber has a really tough time on long, long, long car trips. So 50+ hours has been difficult for her! Only two more legs to go. Yippeee!!!
