It Really is a Rock Band World Tour

Jan 14th, 2008 by Nathan | 1

Charleston 033

We’ve been harping on our World Tour for many weeks now. Did you think we were joking?

The tour is really kicking into hire gear now.

For real.

Well, kind of.

Amber and I have joined forces with our friends Jeff and Ann-Marie (the totally radical couple hosting us here in Charleston) to form our very own ROCK BAND! (If you haven’t heard of Rock Band before — and I hadn’t until a week ago — it’s a video game where you can jam on the guitar, drums, and vocals to the best rock anthems of all time.)

Jeff can tear it up on drums. I’ve become decent on the “Easy” and “Medium” levels for the guitar. And Ann-Marie and Amber are surprisingly good heavy metal singers.

Pretty soon we’ll be touring with the Rolling Stones.

We’ve had a lot of fun during our nightly jam sessions…and visiting friends and supporters in Charleston! I have a lot to update you on with regards to our progress in raising support and making plans to leave for Nicaragua. I promise, I’ll send an e-newsletter very soon with our news.

Until then, take a look at how Rock Band and Guitar Hero are supposed to be played. This kid is unbelievable. I might as well give up now!
