Let the Packing Begin
I promised you a packing update on Tuesday. I’m just now getting around to it. I’m behind on my blogging just as I’m behind on packing! This is where we stand today…

This isn’t everything. There’s also a big container of miscellaneous stuff (like this).
Amber is spear-heading the packing effort. (That’s not a big shock to those of you who know Amber and me well!) She was getting annoyed with me yesterday (and deservedly so) for procrastinating on my duties. But I made up for it by correctly guessing — to within one pound — the weight of our suitcases. What can I say? I should have been one of those guys (”carnies”) at the fair who guesses people’s weight and age…
Anyway, at this point we’re safely below the 50-pound limit for each bag. We’ll see if we can stay under that as Sunday afternoon approaches!
Only two days to go!!!

My prayers are with you!
Do you think you could fit me on one of those suitcases!
I just returned from a mission trip to Costa Rica.
After 10 days of no TV, no phone, and no car, I am still on “Costa Rica time”.

Is that a UNC hat in the picture? You guys know where your priorities are, even when you have that much space.
Stay strong you two.

Of course it’s a UNC hat! And you better believe that I’m going to find a way to watch (or listen to) the Carolina vs. dook game this weekend! Hopefully I can find some Tar Heel loving Nicaraguans.
