Meeting Ministers in Rivas

A group of us (me, Mary, Alcides, and Bob) drove down to Rivas today to meet with some of the local pastors. The picture above is a group of pastors who just completed Bob’s “Pastor’s Toolbox” course. Next fall they will start another course with Alcides.
It’s very exciting to meet the pastors, see their excitement for ministering to their churches and communities…and to share a meal together!
Tonight we’re meeting with the Nazarene church we worked with for the Kirk of the Hills medical team. It’s their “debriefing” meeting where the volunteers will discuss their experience hosting and serving with the “cheles” and share what God is doing in their church and in their hearts.
So, it’s been a long day in Rivas, but a fun one!
