My Favorite Twitter Tools: Twitter Grader
Next in my series of posts on my favorite Twitter tools is a website called Twitter Grader. The idea is pretty simple. As the website states,
“Twitter Grader gives you a grade based on the power of your Twitter profile.”
How is your score determined? Twitter Grader doesn’t give away all of its secrets, but it does list the obvious factors:
* The number of followers you have
* The power of this network of followers
* The pace of your updates
* The completeness of your profile
* …a few others
The maximum score is 100. The minimum is 0.
Now that you have the basic idea, here are a few Twitterers and their corresponding scores (Note: these scores change continuously as new users are added, profiles updates, new tweets are posted, etc.).
@NathanBabcock - 53 - Ouch! I’m failing Twitter school right now! Help me out and start following me!
@CFCI_Nicaragua - 17 - And I thought I was doing poorly, my ministry’s account is fairing much worse. Please help my base stay afloat by following it!
@cnnbrk - 100 - Bam! One hundred percent. CNN Breaking News lands a perfect score. But they’re a huge media conglomerate. They should score 100. Let’s see some more “regular folks”…
@GregSurratt - 83 - A very solid score from my pastor. Maybe I’ll continue following him after all.
@PenelopeTrunk - 95.2 - A blogger, author, and one of my favorite Twitters, Penelope Trunk scores an “A”.
@JimDeMint - 97.8 - My favorite senator comes close to a perfect score. South Carolina should be proud. (Note: @BarackObama and @JohnMcCain both scored 100, but Obama wins this contest with over 100,000 Twitter followers).
@BloggersBlog - 100 - Finally, BloggersBlog, another one of my favorites, comes in at #7 on Twitter Grader’s list of highest rated Twitter users.
Check out Twitter Grader and see how you stack up!
