Amber and I are going to enjoy our Saturday chillaxing at Laguna de Apoyo, a beautiful crater lake in Nicaragua. (We’ll snap some pictures for you.) We hope your 4th of July weekend is just as fun and relaxing. Shoot some fireworks for us!
Amber and I had a wonderful Semana Santa with two of our favorite people: Joseph and Josecito (”Tito”). These two little boys really captured our hearts during the Christmas holiday when we first babysat them. Our affection for them has grown even more this week.

But I have a good excuse: Amber and I were criss-crossing the South for the last four weeks, visiting family and friends, eating as many Thanksgiving meals as humanly possible, in having an all-around outstanding time!

Yesterday we drove an hour south to Granada, Nicaragua for a little day trip to celebrate Amber’s birthday. We took a little boat ride in Lake Nicaragua, walked around historic downtown Granada, and ate some good “American style” food — a perfect, fun, relaxing day. Here are a few pictures…
