My Favorite Twitter Tools: TwitterSnooze

Oct 17th, 2008 by Nathan | 0

The last Twitter tool I’m going to write about this week is called TwitterSnooze. Their tag line says it all:
Hit the snooze button on your “verbose” Twitter friends.
Twitterholics describes the service like this:
Is a verbose Twitterer getting on your nerves? Or maybe everyone is tweeting about a conference you didn’t attend? Instead of un-following the [...]

My Favorite Twitter Tools: Twitter Grader

Oct 15th, 2008 by Nathan | 0

Next in my series of posts on my favorite Twitter tools is a website called Twitter Grader. The idea is pretty simple. As the website states,
“Twitter Grader gives you a grade based on the power of your Twitter profile.”
How is your score determined? Twitter Grader doesn’t give away all of its secrets, [...]

My Favorite Twitter Tools: Twictionary

Oct 14th, 2008 by Nathan | 0

This week I’m talking about my favorite Twitter tools. I don’t know how practical today’s “tool” is, but it’s pretty funny: Twictionary, a repository for all sorts of manglings of the English language as used on Twitter. “Less friends?” [...]

Follow Christ for the City Missionaries on Twitter

Oct 10th, 2008 by Nathan | 0

What are you doing?
It’s a simple question. But when the person whom you’re asking lives far away (say, in Nicaragua), it’s not always so simple.
Until now.
Christ for the City missionaries — in Nicaragua and around the world — are on Twitter, a social networking service that encourages its users to answer the simple question…
What [...]

Evangelical Alliance Names the Ten Blogging Commandments

Oct 9th, 2008 by Nathan | 0

The Evangelical Alliance recently came up with the “Ten Blogging Commandments.” The Evangelical Alliance says they are loosely based on the real Ten Commandments from the Old Testament and are “intended to cause bloggers to consider the social impact of their blogging.”
Scary.
Anyway, here’s the list:
1. You shall not put your blog before your integrity.
2. You [...]

It’s a Web 2.0 World

Oct 8th, 2008 by Nathan | 0

I’m still jazzed about an experience I had a couple of weeks ago involving Twitter and the domain/web host I use for all of my blogs, GoDaddy.com.
Here’s the story.
I got a notice about an unexpected charge on my credit card from GoDaddy. Fifty-five dollars. Apparently, I had gone over the space limitations for one of [...]
