Episode 009 - “A Night of Worship”

Aug 27th, 2008 by Nathan | 0

One of the most inspiring, moving, Spirit-led worship experiences of my life occurred a couple of weeks ago during the Seacoast medical mission trip at the Nueva Jerusalén Church. It was twenty Americans and two hundred Nicaraguans praising God.
No inhibitions.
No concerns about a language barrier.
No holding back.
Just singing to our Lord and Savior.
It was [...]

The members of the Seacoast medical mission team were nice enough to loan me their cameras on Saturday night in order to group all of their pictures together.
And here they are.
All 2,316 of them. (A new world record for CFCI-Nicaragua mission teams!)
Enjoy.

Highlights from My Week With the Seacoast Medical Team

Aug 17th, 2008 by Nathan | 0

In no specific order, written while sleep-deprived and without any proof-reading (so consider yourself warned), here are the moments that jump out at me from the past week with the Seacoast medical mission team:

Aug 8th, 2008 by Nathan | 4

The Seacoast medical team landed safely in Nicaragua this evening.
But if you’re following me on Twitter, you’d already know that!
I’ll have some Internet access during the week, so if you would like to follow the team “virtually,” I’ll try to post Twitter updates whenever possible (at least daily).  Here’s the link to follow me on [...]

Grace Medical and Construction Pictures

Aug 7th, 2008 by Nathan | 0

Amber’s busy with last-minute details for the Seacoast medical team, but I have a few minutes to post her pictures from the Grace medical and construction team last week. From what Amber tells me, they did a great job serving the people of Via El Carmen, Nicaragua…and had a wonderful time doing it! [...]

Yesterday we said goodbye to the youth mission team from Seacoast Church. Fabricio, David, and I served with the 14 members of the team, lead by Youth Pastor Josh Ray, in the coastal community of Madroñal and then at a youth retreat in Ciudad Sandino, Nicaragua.
I must say, we had an amazing time:

The Seacoast [...]
